What a Relief!! To the whole team of “Oru Adaar Love".  Oh Yes, there is positive response from the court, the Supreme Court stayed criminal action by Telangana and Maharashtra authorities against Priya Prakash Varrier on Wednesday, Also restrained other states from taking action  on song "Manikya Malaraya Poovi”, So no more trouble for  the Malayalam actress and film director Omar Lulu, they expressed happiness.

The group of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud declared that action could not be proceeded in other states too.

As per reports, Priya's lawyer Harris Beeran told the court that there has been no case filed against her in Kerala. Priya's "wink song" from the film "Oru Adaar Love" has nothing to do with this case, as she was just performing the song, it was the character given to her.

Media had word with her at home town Thrissur, Varrier said she had heard about the court ruling. "Priya said she has not received the copy of order yet and her lawyer also stated her that everything is fine now, the matter has sorted almost. Results are in favor of their film. Earlier I was worried but now I'm happy with the result and will focus on shoot ahead" Same happiness shared by the director he said now we'll proceed as per plan for the shooting of film.

It has been also noticed that "This song has been around since 1978 and all are surprised how it became an issue now. Lulu said there is no opposition against it in Kerala so they can easily go forward for their shooting.

As we briefed you in the previous news of Varrier regarding the case that Some Muslim activists had lodged an FIR against the team of "Oru Adaar Love" in Hyderabad under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code on February 14, for hurting religious sentiments. A group in Maharashtra's Aurangabad had also filed four police complaints against Varrier and Lulu on the same grounds.

The controversial scene where Priya winks at a boy features the Mappila lyrics, The complaints were mainly for the use of Mappila as background music in the scene.

Priya also stated same thing to court that the song has been in existence for the last 40 years. So, why it’s becoming an issue now? There is no valid reason but in end, the thing is that the matter has been sorted out and the team can work their film freely.
