Over time, cognition becomes relatively more important than emotion, and close relationships. Relationships have not remained of long term, divorces and living relationships are the common actions. It was only in earlier phase when divorce meant never to be cordial with your ex-partner again, when you cannot be friends with your competitors and accepting step kids and step-parents were just next to impossible. As time passed, now society has accepted the most of these exceptional changes and is definitely applaud-worthy particularly in Bollywood. 

Today, many stepmothers in B-town have not only accepted their step-kids but also living life  happily with them like blood relations. Here we give you some examples of stepmoms in Bollywood who share a beautiful bond with their step kids.

Supriya Pathak – Shahid Kapoor

Shahid kapoor is son Pankaj Kapur and his first wife Neelima Azim. He married actress Supriya Pathak after separating from his first wife. 

Supriya and Shahid not only accepted each other with open arms but share a very close relationship as well. He also shares a very affectionate relationship with his step-siblings Ruhaan and Sanah.  

Helen-Salman Khan 

Salman Khan’s family is the perfect example of  exceptions we boast of. Despite many cultural differences in their household, there is hardly any room for hatred.  Salman's father salim first married to Sushila Charak, who later changed her name to Salma Khan, Salim Khan fell in love with Helen and tied know with her. Salma and Salim have four kids namely Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira.

Although both Salma and the kids were hostile towards Helen initially, later they gave in when they reportedly realised that Helen was a warm person. Soni Razdan- Pooja and Rahul Bhatt

Mahesh Bhatt, already had two kids Pooja and Rahul Bhatt from first marriage when he married to British-born actress Soni Razdan and they both together have two daughters, Alia and Shaheen. However, the mother-children have reportedly said to share a great bond.

The family is often seen celebrating various occasions together. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan- Sara and Ibrahim

Kareena Kapoor Khan became second wife of Saif and step-mother to two grown-up kids Sara and Ibrahim when she tied knot with Saif Ali Khan. Sara and Ibrahim were born to Saif and his first wife Amrita Singh.

Maanayata- Trishala Dutt

Sanjay Dutt's first wife was Richa Sharma and Trishala is their first child. Although Sanjay is now married again to maanayata with two twin kids Iqra and Shahraan, his bond with loving Trishala remains the same.

Kiran Rao- Ira and Junaid Khan

Kiran Rao is second wife of famous star Aamir Khan, she married to him when he was already a father of two, Ira and Junaid from his first wife Reena Dutt. 

Kiran not only shares a very lovable relationship with the two kids but has also praised Reena time and again for the way she has brought up the kids.

Shabana Azmi- Farhan and Zoya Akhtar

Shabana Azmi not only became second wife of Javed Akhtar but also a second mother to his two kids, Farhan and Zoya. Farhan had reportedly said in an interview that his sister and he used to fight with their father for leaving their mother. 

However, with time and Shabana’s love and care, they eventually grew fond of her.
