Oops!! Another trouble to Xiaomi Mi A1 users!! Click to Find out??

Again, a delimma for Mi users. Even after the update users facing big trouble.

Recently, Xiaomi pile out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to their Android One program based smartphone, the Mi A1 this January. The update was rejected twice due to issues and some users who are now updating their devices seem to be affected by two new bugs. Some users reported on Xiaomi’s official support forum that their Mi A1’s battery drainage has increased and is completely depleted within 2 to 3 hours, post the Oreo update.

Even at minimum usage

Also, there’s another issue related to the fingerprint sensor. After the update, some users have experienced a delay of up to 1 second while unlocking the phone. As per a report by Piunika Web, Xiaomi has acknowledged both issues and is working on a fix which will be issued soon.

We tested the latest Android Oreo update on the Mi A1 to see how it fares in comparison with its Nougat counterpart. We said, “The update to Android Oreo brings a whole lot of new features and some under-the-hood optimizations. Xiaomi has worked on improving the camera but in the process has broken the consistency of results.

The new Oreo update also brings features like notification dots, a new notification management settings which allow users to snooze notifications, adaptive icons, Picture-in-Picture for supported apps like VLC and Google Maps, new emojis and some tweaks under the surface for enhancing battery backup and performance.

But, if you are a continous  user of the Mi A1 and cannot tolerate frequent pause and lags and random force closes, we advise you to stick to the older version till Xiaomi build out some bug fixes to the Android Oreo build.
