Instagram is the most used app in recent times, which has around 800 million users worldwide. But there are few features which are not available on Instagram but Facebook. Users dropped many comments to regulate the features available on Facebook like downloading pictures. Instagram was lacking this feature so far. But here, the team comes with the new amazing update which will soon allow its worldwide users to download a copy of all uploaded content on the photo-sharing platform, as per their spokesman.

The disclosure comes with global concerns about the privacy of users' data & information on social platform and the amount of user data that companies keep. While this feature is available on Facebook which has allowed its users to download their photos, messages, clicked advertisements and even a log of all their activity on the social platform since at least 2010, 

As per reports and their team announcements "They are building a new tool name as data portability tool," an Instagram spokesman stated this via email. This tool will allow users to download photos, videos, and messages.

It is supposed to launch before May 25, if it launched before the date it will help Instagram following upcoming European privacy laws that require data portability to get more exposure and new insights.
