Well, everybody knows that Whatsapp is one of the world’s largest messaging apps in present and past times as well but due to other social apps it’s losing its attention. Still it has millions of users to retain them, here bringing yet another great feature. Whatsapp is now launching a group video calling feature for more than 1.5 million active users. However, it is not that Whatsapp is the first app to feature the group video call. Video Calling App IMO already has a group video calling feature.
According to the report of WABetaInfo, Whatsapp Group Video calling feature will be released for Android users first and then there will be updates for iOS and Windows. This feature is currently being tested on Beta version 2.18.39 of Android. After updating this video calling feature, the group will be able to accommodate up to 4 people and 3 people in personal chat.
Hoping this feature will increase the number of users and its usage off course, This will be little challenging for Whatsapp to attract users for this feature because this feature is available in imo app already, but chances are more due to the quality of call and the no. Of persons to be added in group call.
Indeed, during group video calling in Whatsapp, users will see Add Person's icon which will be able to add 4 people to the group. After selecting the name, those people will get notifications.
